The Islands Trust project is actually a series of projects involving the conversion of many different applications designed in MS Access to a web based platform format.

With the first phase complete, we rewrote six applications and create another from the ground up. Conversion of the existing applications also included extensive enhancements.

All the applications were integrated into one easy to use interface, allowing staff to work quickly and with many applications at the same time.

We were required to conduct all the business analyses, data modeling, design, and programming for this project.

Storage of data is now more efficient and code can now easily be shared between applications, allowing Islands Trust to develop more for less.

Islands Trust will be migrating many of the applications to ColdFusion MX 7 to take advantage of CF's built in reporting tools and PDF generation.
